DSA-LA: 5,500 Members on the West Coast

DSA-LA reports more than 5,500 dues-paying members, making it one of the largest chapters in the nation, and California hosts on the order of 20 chapters statewide — from the Bay Area to San Diego.
That footprint has not yet translated into a large legislative bench (Alex Lee remains the sole DSA member of the Legislature), but the organizing base is deep and growing.
We map the chapter footprint and track every DSA-affiliated official we can verify in the state.
